Hologroup’s MR Guide makes Microsoft’s HoloLens your Brand New tour guide

Russian startup Hologroup recently published MR Guide to get HoloLens developers. The program gives the ability to generate a holographic tour for the mixed-reality headset of Microsoft to anyone, with no programming necessary.

Presently the HoloLens hardware is available to the public only in a costly programmer’s edition, but it’s already seeing helpful software. MR Guide gives early adopters the tools to make adventures in the HoloLens’ native interface, with no need for any extra applications.

According to Holograph CEO Alex Yakubov:

With the assistance of MR Guide, developing a holographic tour is no more challenging than making a PowerPoint demonstration. Now, every space that is innovative, showrooms, exhibition stands along with museums can begin mixing their reality with any content that is interactive, to help focusing the attention of the visitors and guests. Jobs likes this might have required 3 to 6 weeks of busy work of a whole lot of expensive developers and contractors, now everybody can do it with no extra assistance.

By interacting with the software through the HoloLens headset, creators upload documents using Microsoft’s One Drive and design the text and triggers for their own virtual tours.
