Last night I demonstrated of HoloLens into the Adelaide .Net User Group.
We had a good number of people hear about MR and VR/AR but I think they were all keen to check out the device.
After moving to explain gaze and gestures it was time to hand it on.
My volunteer made it after to get a couple seconds happily navigated around the holograms, turning my back and quickly.
He also took to Dippy and after one voice control had already guessed what the next couple were. Like most people he created a massive assortment of diprotodons.
After we revealed how to use it together with the 21, next volunteer had a go to atmosphere tap and voice orders.
However, since you can see by the grin, even the simplest of programs that we’re able to build makes people happy.
My demo was of Robo Raid — and boy did this volunteer have fun.
Thank you David for the pics and the invitation. Enjoy seeing people appreciating this technology.
